The 1 inch – 3-quarter inch reducing bush is commonly used with 3/4 inch rigid pipe and 3/4 inch flexible rigid pipe. 1 inch socket connectors.

Best to use a plumbing cleaner then pipe cement to assemble.

Part sent out is grey and is a male fitting that slips inside a female socket/elbow etc. You can then fit half inch pipe into it.
